HAVENS PARENTS CLUB (HPC)

There’s always a growing sense of excitement at this time of year as the Holiday Season kicks off. But with recent power outages, the ever-changing warm winds and smokey air, this Halloween is set to be the spookiest of them all! I hope to see you tomorrow morning at our annual Halloween parade. It’s super cute seeing all the fun costumes and nothing is better than the enormous smiles on our children’s faces!

If you have been affected by the on-going power outages, or if you know of a family who has been, please reach out to Cortney Allen (cortney.allen@gmail.com) or Dana Lung (dana.lung@stanfordalumni.org), our Caring Committee Chairs. We have a wonderful group of parents who are ready to supply meals, help arrange playdates, can offer wifi connection and any other support needed at this time. Some of you have been without power since the weekend, and even Mulberry’s shelves are looking very empty! Please don’t hesitate.

At the very least, be sure to grab a free coffee from our Scrip Representatives (Amy Gurvitz and Erin Schultz), who will be selling Scrip cards in front of Ellen Driscoll, along Highland Ave tomorrow before the parade. Stock up for the holidays!

Have a safe and happy Halloween.

Tara Boris, HPC President
