HAVENS PARENTS CLUB (HPC)

I hope you all had a successful first day. It was wonderful to see such happiness and excitement flood the gates at the end of the day. If you had a few tears (students, or parents), I’m sure the coming days will bring greater familiarity.

It was fun to catch up with many of you at our Welcome Coffee. A big thank you to our Hospitality Team for the fabulous breakfast bites and, much needed, coffee. It was especially appreciated after such a busy morning! If you missed the chance to pop in, please take a minute to sign-up for the HPC and to support our school programs at https://piedmontstore.org/essentials. Our first Members Meeting is this coming Tuesday, August 20th at 7pm in the Library.

We have a big announcement to start the year - our NEW HPC website has launched! For new and current families, we are thrilled to offer a truly dynamic and interactive site that can be your one-stop: "where do I find out about that?" place. Please spend some time familiarizing yourself with it and, in particular, utilizing the Volunteer Page.

A huge thanks to our amazing families, new and current, who helped with our Campus Clean-Up early Sunday morning. Special thanks to Jane Mitchell (Campus Care) for all the organization and strong recruitment efforts, and to Roger Tsai (Dad's Club) for their support and popsicles treats - which were well deserved and very much appreciated by all! It was a super fun start to the year. Hope you can join the next one!
