Q. I'D LIKE TO GET INVOLVED, HOW DO I VOLUNTEER?
A. There are many volunteer opportunities depending on your availability. Look at a Volunteer for more information.  If you're looking to volunteer in your child's classroom or on field trips, you will have that opportunity to sign up in your child's classroom on Back to School night.  Please note that currently the classroom and field trip volunteering is on hold until January due to Covid precautions.

Q. WHAT IS SPRING FLING?
A. Spring Fling is an annual celebration of Piedmont's three elementary schools that brings together our entire community in support of our children's education. Spring Fling is one of Piedmont Education Foundation's largest fundraisers and the money raised goes directly to the schools. We know how important it is to educate the whole child and since state funding alone cannot do that, we band together to ensure that all Piedmont students continue to have strong programs in science, technology, math, music, visual art, library, social-emotional learning, and more. In order for Spring Fling to be a true success, we need 100% participation from parents. Please be on the lookout for the many opportunities during the year to give time, talent, and/or treasure by volunteering, donating/purchasing auction items, and simply by attending the spring gala. We hope you will consider ways in which you can contribute to our amazing community.

Q. WHAT IS PEF?
A. P.E.F. stands fodr Piedmont Education Foundation. The Piedmont Education Foundation is a community-based, registered 501(c)3 non-profit whose mission is to promote academic excellence, champion innovation, and provide sustained financial support to the Piedmont Unified School District. PEF contributes approximately 6% of the Piedmont Unified School District’s annual budget and is the steward for an Endowment valued at over $6 million. Learn more.

Q. HOW DO I KEEP UP WITH LATEST NEWS?
A. Havens Highlights is emailed every Wednesday and is the most vital communication from Principal Dolid. It will contain a summary of the next week's events, updates from HPC and much more!  You will also receive weekly emails from your child's classroom parent.  Read more about communications here.

Q. HOW DO I FIND THE HAVENS CALENDAR?
A. You can find the instructional calendars and Havens calendar here.  We suggest that you subscribe to the google calendar!

Q. I NEED TO FIND AFTER SCHOOL CARE, WHERE CAN I FIND INFORMATION ON THIS?

A. Havens After School Enrichment is a fantastic option.  Classes start immediately after school and are held on campus.  Schoolmates run by Piedmont Recreation Department is right on the Havens campus.  Learn more about after school care options here.
